1.44 MULTI I/O CARD USER GUIDE
INTRODUCTION
1.44 MULTI I/O Card can be used by all personal computer which are in
compatible with 16 BIT personal computer or PC/XT. It provides your system
5 majors function:
1. FLOPPY DISK ADAPTER: two DS/DD/HD/2HD floppy disk can be drive.
2. PARALLEL PRINTER INTERFACE: The parallel printer interface is designed
connect printer. Parallel printer supports the graphics function by
driver software. User device jumper to enable printer.
3. SERIAL RS-232 CONNECTOR: There are two serial port, normal the card
provide you all component for RS-232-1, but RS-232-2 is optional. You
can't define RS-232-1 and RS-232-2 to same device.
4. BATTERY BACK-UP CLOCK/CALENDER:
-INTERRUPTIVE LEVEL SELECTIVE AREA.
5. GAME PORT: Allows joy-stick connect there.
HOW TO INSTALL THE CARD
- Turn your system ON
- Use flat screwdrive to loose the screw which is used to hold the card in
place turn the screw COW.
- Notice there are 31 golden finger which allow you to connect the
mainboard to the card. When you install your 1.44 MULTI I/O card, make
sure if golden fingers are in contact with the corresponding connector
properly.
HOW TO PLUG THE CARD
Consider the following figure of the card.
- Use the flat screwdrive to fix the card. Turn the screw CW.

HOW TO USE THE CARD
1. Floopy Disk
- Install the drive type:
When the screen display "PRESS TO INSTALL DRIVE TYPE" then
press key. The screen will display menu, you must select 1-3 to
install drive type.
Use flag disk cable please check pin 1 make correct to connect disk
port golden pin. Cable other hand have two 34 pin female disk connector
distance cable longer connector DRIVER A.

INTRODUCTION
Consider the hardware configuration of multifunction card, you can
see a battery powered clock. You may ask what is its function and how to
use it ?
THE FUNCTION TO TIMER.COM PROGRAM
- Allows you to initialize the date and time in the clock device. A
battery provides power to the clock still works and the date and time set
are still maintained.
GETTING START
A> COPY CON: AUTOEXEC.BAT
TIMER /S Z
In the above commands, the first command line tell DOS to copy information
entered on the key-board into the AUTOEXEC. The second command line enter
the TIMER /S program . The third line means that you can press Crtl Z
together or you can only press the F6 key. This causes the system that
key-board input is not into the file and causes information to be written
to the file.
TIMER /I: Initials the clock on the BABY card. It will first display the
time currently exist and ask you enter new time. If time is correct,
TIMER will set it onto the clock device, otherwise an error message is
displayed and you have to try again.
NOTE: The TIMER program adopts only 8 characters.
2 digits for each item.
2 characters to seperate the digits, you can use any characters. But
the standard form is use"
NOTE: Don't use alphabet.
